Hi there I've only just come across gnuplot and it all seems excellent so far. I have a plot to do and I was wondering whether gnuplot would be a good piece of software to do it. I'll have a matrix file like so 1 1 20 1 2 45 1 3 46 2 1 45 etc ... If one imagines the first two columns as 'objects' the third column is a measure of similarity between those two objects. I want to create a 2D grid - it will probably be about 40 squares by 40 squares in size. I would like the measure of similarity between the two objects to be highlighted as a specific colour. I've looked at pm3d plots but I'm not even sure whether thats the best place to start. Any tips very much appreciated. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/newbie-asking-for-help-with-%27matrix%27-plot-tf4628615.html#a13216295 Sent from the Gnuplot - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
