Wow, that's a pity you haven't struggled to figure out & submit this bug 
over that long time since "with image".

Then it would require WITH_IMAGE to be compiled in (is it the way 
"term->filled_gradient" should be implemented?)

I would like to see first comments from local postscript gurus, then fill in 
ghostscript bug report, and wait to their answer.
