FWIW, I can't reproduce the problem on Mac OS X 10.3.8 using gnuplot 
4.1 compiled from CVS a few days ago. I don't think this is a problem 
with Terminal.app. Maybe someone else can comment on whether gnuplot 
has had any changes between 4.0 and current that may affect this.
