Using dgrid3d would force it to be geometrically rectangular. So you don't want to use it. That means you have to achieve grid structure yourself, by preparing the data accordingly. See "help splot datafile" for what that means. You'll probably have to repeat data points or add dummy ones (with undefined or out-of-range z values that you can filter away). |
