In octave one can do surf(A, B, C) where A is a 1-D vector of size n, B is a 1-D vector of size n, C is 2-D matrix of size nxn. This basically plots the surface defined by C on the mesh generated by A, B. Is there any way to achieve this gnuplot? The advantage of the above method as opposed to gnuplot's splot filename u 1:2:3 w l is that the storage required in octave is n**2+2*n instead of 3*n**2 elements in gnuplot. Any ideas? thanks raju -- Kamaraju S Kusumanchi http://www.people.cornell.edu/pages/kk288/ http://malayamaarutham.blogspot.com/ |
