Hello, I would like to plot (gene expression) values of two groups, say control and treated. Each group has several samples. I assign x-value 1 to group 'control' and 2 to 'treated'. Example for group 1: x expression 1 3 1 5 1 8 1 3.5 1 3.4 1 3.3 1 3.7 1 10 1 6 1 7 1 6.5 (I set y-range to [0:10]) Unfortunately, symbols of expression (y) values that are very close overlap, thus, obscuring each other. It would be better to plot it like in the graph given here: http://www.graphpad.com/faq/viewfaq.cfm?faq=145 Can that be done in gnuplot as well? Maybe using an 'if' command? Note: There are too many values to do it manually, I'm afraid. Grateful for any comments, adrian |
