[Gnuplot-info] Problem with 3d plot and coloring

Hi

I am trying to plot a cube with only dots, and i want to color the
dots acourding to some numbers i calculate. Is this possible?
Its fairly easy to plot 3d but the color comes as a function on the z value.

I do not subscribe to this list so please reply to me too.
