The patch is not > required. I have GNU autoconf version 2.52. Is AC_HEADER_STDBOOL a newer feature? Does my patch have any disadvantages against AC_HEADER_STDBOOL? There will surely be other installations that do not work together with this feature and which work without it. Is the second part (defining HAVE__BOOL) also handled by AC_HEADER_STDBOOL? If not, at least the test on _Bool itself should be included.
