[Gnuplot-info] 3D gnuplot

Hi,
I was looking at http://dynamicnetservices.com/~will/gnuplot/ 
<http://dynamicnetservices.com/%7Ewill/gnuplot/> which attempted to plot 
3D images using gnuplot. Im trying to plot 3D images too but they're 
more of objects rather than shapes. I was wondering how do you plot 
hemispheres or half hemispheres. What Im really attempting to plot is an 
image which looks something like 
http://www.resa.net/nasa/images/io/io%20core.JPG 
<http://www.resa.net/nasa/images/io/io%20core.JPG> using gnuplot.
Any ideas?
