[Gnuplot-info] Help on plot command

Hello!

Have just spent two hours trying to get one simple x,y point to plot. Have 
not succeeded. Tried help but am not able to see where I enter two simple points 
to plot. The  help file is not written in simple terms. Examples would be 
helpful. If you would please tell me how to put simple points on the graph. You 
may have a good product but if the average user cannot use it; it is not useful.
