[Gnuplot-info] How is BoundingBox calculated

Hi,
        I'm trying to work out how BoundingBox is calculated with gnuplot, 
especially what may have changed between versions. On a Solaris 8 server 
we have a very old version (v3.5) that was provided as part of an 
application that produces the postscript files and when they're printed 
they come off printed centrally as expected ( %%BoundingBox: 50 50 1619 
2291 ). However when using a newer version (v3.7) on Linux, with the same 
input file the results are different ( %%BoundingBox: -1014 50 554 2291 ) 
and the printing is not correct. As a test have tried v3.7 on the Solaris 
server and it produces the same results as Linux. Has something changed 
regarding how this setting is arrived at between versions??? And how does 
gnuplot work out these figures to pass to the postscript output file???
