First, I think that what you folks are doing is fabulous. But I've got problems. I just installed gnuplot. x11 was already installed, as was acquaterm. Problem 1 may be stupid: If I try to get gnuplot from Terminal, I get the gnuplot login info, followed by *** Terminal type set to 'unknown' *** If I try "set term x11" I get the response *** Terminal type set to 'x11' Options are '0' gnuplot> gnuplot: unable to open display '' gnuplot: X11 aborted. *** Problem 2 is curious: If I open a window in xterm, gnuplot is defined only in the home directory. I thought that I had added the appropriate path to etc/usr/csh.login. Perhaps you can tell me the path to use? I've tried looking up solutions on the web, but so far no go. Many thanks. |
