[Gnuplot-info] Changing the Z axis as displayed in splot

I'm using windows + version 6 wgnuplot.exe. I have a 4D data file where 
-Z data is up and +Z data is down. Any combination of "set zrange [a:b] 
c" makes no difference whether a = +/- 2, b = -/+ 2, and c=reverse or 
(blank space), the Z axis always plots with -2 down and +2 up.  How to 
splot with the Z axis + numbers down and - numbers up?
