Hi Timo!

I've had the same problem and I've "googled" a bit about it -> See
the page http://www.bmsc.washington.edu/people/merritt/gnuplot/ for
this. Mr. Merritt has developed a patch with a new "labels" style.
Hope this helps :) I'll try to apply it tonight or so; I'm really
confident.
