What part of that sketch is the "slope"?  I see a straight line at an 
angle, a horizontal, something that appears to be an angle, and some
text.

Please note that gnuplot is not, nor does it try to be, an analytical 
maths workbench.  If that's what you're looking for, try Mathematica, 
Maple, MuPAD or one of their ilk.
