Nothing under gnuplot's control, that is. BTW: what terminal driver are you talking about? I.e. gnuplot returns to the prompt because its job is done. If, after that, it takes any time long enough to even notice for the plot window to actually show up visibly, that means one of two things: 1) Your window manager insists on you placing every new window manually. I'm not aware of any provisions for such a block. Because of the possiblility of deadlock that goes with any blocking operation like that, I'm slightly opposed to it even without having considered at any depth. |
