[Gnuplot-info] x and y in different files

Somebody answered this question a while back. If your
running on a unix (or linux) machine then you can do
it using shell script - the command was something
similar to 'cat' or something?

Essentially you combine the files using unix shell
commands (or someother package, like excel, if your on
a windows box) and plot the combined data - but
gnuplot (as I understand it) doesn't plot data from
two files on its own.
