The only difficulty is that by=20 default, it's z position is kept outside the actual plot's zrange. But=20 that can be changed: set ticslevel 0 moves the base plane to the bottom of the zrange of your data. Now,=20 you'll have to know where that bottom is, and fix it, e.g.: set zrange [z_bottom:*] Now you can plot your data and the reference, e.g. plot 'datafile' with points, \ '' using 1:2:(z_bottom) with lines 'reference' using 1:2:(z_bottom) with lines |
