Not really.  You (and/or your sysadmin) *made* it stop working --- it
didn't
just stop working all by itself.

So, in a nutshell, two applications, both authored by Microsoft,
disagreed on
whether this was a correct PNG.  Where I come from, that points the
blame
firmly into the state of Washington, U.S.A.
