[Gnuplot-info] Gathering Errors in Batch mode

Hi All, 

Apologies if this is an FAQ, but I'm in the process of integrating version 4
into our gnuplot-enabled web applications and have the same question I had
back in 2000 (on ver 3.7).

When running on MS Windows, is there any mechanism whereby the errors that
would be displayed in interactive mode (with LOAD), can be sent to a file
when running in batch mode? Or, perhaps more simply, what is the proper way
to get error messages in batch mode?

PS: Congrats on version 4 BTW. It's been a very smooth transition thus far,
and I'm seeing substantial performance increases, not to mention new
features I'm sure will be useful.
