Hi Patrick,

you can set table separator directly after table (see 'help table') but the
troubles are probably elsewhere.

I still cannot reproduce the behaviour you get.
What is yours OS?
Do you have the same troubles with completely new testing file or with
datablock plotted from a function or set directly in gnuplot?
Do you have the same troubles, if you save table to external file instead
of gnuplot datablock?
Did you check the original data-file for special chars (e.g., 'cat -A')?
If nothing helps, could you send me the trouble-making file?
