mp terminal

It seems to me that the mp terminal misses a trick: unlike other 
TeX-related terminals such as cairolatex and tikz, it doesn't use a 
proper TeX minux sign in tic labels for negative numbers.

I'm attaching a little patch. It's conditional on one of TeX options 
being selected (as opposed to "notex") and it works on the heuristic 
that if text begins with '-' followed by a digit then a minus sign 
is wanted. There may be a better way of achieving the same effect 
but it works OK in my trials.
