Huh.  That's much older.  The version I deleted was gvfs-1.18.3-1.mga4.x86_64

I wonder if there's a reliable way to have the program say
"I don't want any gvfs, thanks" rather than disabling it for the entire system?
Then again, maybe if I were running a Gnome desktop gvfs would actually work.
So far as I can tell the whole gvfs infrastructure is not relevant to KDE.
