This bug tracker item from Debian seems relevant:

The trace there is nearly the same as we are seeing.
I don't see a true resolution to the problem in that thread.
Apparently it involved a version mismatch in gnome/dbus/gvfs
components, but all the versions mentioned are much older
than I have now.
