[Gnuplot-info] out of memory for expanding curve points

Hello,
I am using gnuplot on windows. For a big data file which contains 21M points and the file size is 280MB, I get this error while plotting

out of memory for expanding curve points

However, there are free memory on my system. Is there any internal limit for gnuplot?
