unexpected zoom behaviour

Hi,

I just got an unexpected graph off recent CVS build, behaviour that I 
have not seen before.

I have a wxt terminal 795x323 and had some data plotted filling plot area.

I selected a zoom area using the mouse and got a plot that goes from 
about 1/3 to 3/4 of the window in width ( height is fine ).

I have the following on the command console:

starting zoom region.
set xr[2006.37135922:2010.8131068]; set yr[6.86301369863:9.93150684932]; 
set x2r[ 2005.46: 2009.64]; set y2r[ 7.26255: 9.95237]
zoom region finished.
