[Gnuplot-info] Dynamic PNG Size

I am using the following snippit to plot a png file that is dynamically 
sized:

>   set terminal unknown
>   sedcmd="<(sed -n '1p;" .rowstart. "," .rowend. "p' " .filename. ".csv)"
>   plot sedcmd nonuniform matrix using 2:1:3 notitle with image
>   xspan = GPVAL_DATA_X_MAX - GPVAL_DATA_X_MIN

However how can I add into the width the anticipated left / right 
margins, the labels and the legend?  I need the actual plot part to be 
pixel perfect, otherwise some of our vertical line markers which are a 
single point wide are lost during interpolation.
