[Gnuplot-info] png term complains something and produces ugly figure

Dear All,

When I use set term png, it always gives the following warning

Could not find/open font when opening font "arial", using internal
non-scalable font

and the plot generated is quite ugly as compared to say what python
generates. I would like to know how I could possibly remove this warning,
and improve the plot quality. The system I use is linux, more details
please let me know which command to use to find it out.
