Hi walter,

PNG terminal is not affected. I tried to change font size and scale in
cairolatex terminal but it doesn't give the desired result when I compile
my thesis. The legend doesn't fit in the key box. I also tried to change
key font but it doesn't work either. But I tried nothing with key margins.

gnuplot documentation says that:

*When using the TeX or other terminal where formatting information is
embedded in the string, gnuplot can only estimate the correctly exact width
of the string for key positioning.*

I would like to find a way to improve this estimative, because it's not
working for me.
