you are looking for something like

set label 1 "Created on\r\n".strftime("%d.%m.%Y\r\n%H:%M:%S",time(0)) at 
screen 0.8,0.2

Check help and/or the pdf documentation about more details of time 
format, labels, coordinates etc.
