[Gnuplot-info] placing axis between tick marks

Hi
In microsoft excel it is possible to change the position of axis from "On tick marks" to "Between tick marks" (http://peltiertech.com/images/2010-12/PositionAxisBar2007.png). 

I am looking for a similar option in gnuplot. Is there any?

Please let me now the correct option
