Hey folks! I've been using/abusing gnuplot for years, no problems
that the excellent manual and demos haven't answered. I still
worry about the dependence on poorly supported libgd, but no
problems so far with that, either. Good job, and thank you,
no specific problems to report here, and thank you again!
I sometimes take the plots out of gnuplot and use libgd to
scribble on them (in for a penny, in for a pound!). Or povray.
I make a whole bunch of images in a directory, then stitch
them together with png2swf into SWF/flash (urk!) animations.
One such animation (with sources) is at:
http://launchloop.com/LaunchLoopHeating#Animation
The launchloop website is creative commons share-and-share-alike
with attribution. Feel free to copy the code, remix it, and
use any license you want. I would appreciate getting back any
rewrites that turn my spagetti code into better examples, but
any of you can have my code for free regardless. I'm deeply
grateful for the gnuplot community that made this possible.
Again, thank you!
Keith
