Hello list,
Being frustrated for too long with the broken gnuplot that is included
in Ubuntu/Debian (still no GNU readline ...), I decided to compile it
myself. “./configure” went fine, but then “make” gives the following error:
c++ ... -c -o wxt_gui.o ...
In file included from wxterminal/wxt_gui.cpp:96:0:
wxterminal/wxt_gui.h:161:3: error: #error "wxt does not know if this
platform has to be mono- or multi-threaded"
In file included from wxterminal/wxt_gui.h:81:0,
from wxterminal/wxt_gui.cpp:96:
/usr/include/wx-2.8/wx/dataobj.h:95:26: error: ‘wxDataFormat’ does not
name a type
/usr/include/wx-2.8/wx/dataobj.h:131:13: error: ‘wxDataFormat’ does not
name a type
...
And then a lot of errors similar to the last.
I found one discussion online about this issue
<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.graphics.apps.gnuplot/LJY_gwMLjac/u2kdzqDazocJ>,
but the suggestion given there:
CXXFLAGS="-D__WXTGTK__" ./configure
does not help in my case.
Any other ideas?
Elias
PS: This is in Ubuntu 12.04
