Tobal,

You can define the tics you want to show. In your case:

set xtics (-4, -3, -2, -1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
set ytics (-4, -3, -2, -1, 1, 2, 3, 4)

instead of

set xtics axis
set ytics axis
