[Gnuplot-info] wxt vs. png output

Hi all,

for generating plots I typically use wxt, png (or pdf) terminals.
There are quite some differences between the two outputs in appearance 
(certainly for some good reasons which I do not know).
With png I also tried option 'truecolor'.
Comparing png-Output and wxt-Output side by side I clearly prefer the wxt.
So, what I do is using the 'copy to clipboard' button in the wxt window 
menubar, copy it to an image program and save it as a PNG to disk.

Isn't there a way to directly save the wxt output as png?
Or is there a way to make the png look (exactly) like the wxt?
