i can see the following line inside the ./configure script CXX=${CXX-${host_alias}-c++} which can result in "-c++" as a name for C++ compiler binary assuming empty $CXX and $host_alias. Not surprising, when running configure as suggested by Ethan, "CXX=g++ ./configure", C++ compiler is detected properly and wxt terminal is enabled, and compiled.
