simplifying CVS instructions

I just looked at the CVS instructions at :
http://www.gnuplot.info/development/index.html

 >>
   export 
CVSROOT=:pserver:ano...@gn...:/cvsroot/gnuplot
   cvs login
   cvs -z3 checkout gnuplot

Note: hit Enter when asked for a password.

Changing the login command line to :

echo > cvs login

makes the login automatic and removes the need for instructions about 
"hitting enter" .

This  makes it a simply cut and paste operation that could equally be 
used as a script.
