Thanks. Your answer enlightened me to use the right keyword to google,
which returned an answer saying that I need external tools to transpose the
text data first. Then, this boils down to a linux question, how can I
possibly transpose a datafile with indefinite entries per row.

Any easy solution to that? Or maybe I just program a little bit on it.
