[Gnuplot-info] How to automatically scale an axis in function of a power of 10

Hello,

I have tried to find the commands (during several hours and on numerous
websites) to reproduce the format of the y-axis on the following picture:

That is to say, I would like to have an automatic 'factorization' by a
common power of 10, put for instance on the top of a graph, for each value
of the y-axis. This seems to be possible, but how to do it?
