Hello GnuPloteers I did not get a response to previous post on this topic so I thought I would try again but with greater detail. I have written a little gnuplot script that plots a 2D gray-scale image of the data contained in the file g_mag.dat. Here it is: set ticslevel 0.0 set xlabel "x" set ylabel "y" set nokey set size ratio 1 set autoscale set pm3d map set palette gray splot 'g_mag.dat' matrix When this script is run the GnuPlot window reports (in the lower left corner) the pixel position of the cursor as the mouse is used to move it. In addition I would like the value of the pixel at the cursor position to be reported. How can I do this? Thank you, Daniel How can I get gnuplot to report the gray-scale value at a point in the image when I position the cursor at the point? Thank you! |
