[Gnuplot-info] gnuplot for plotting zonotopes

Dear all,

I would like to draw zonotopes/zonohedrons:

starting from generators (vectors containing data) and - 
if possible -
also to compute the volume. I was wondering if with 
gnuplot it is
possible to draw this 3-D object plotting actual data. I 
did look in
the gallery of the demo but could not find anything close 
to it.

Any ideas or suggestions?

If gnuplot is not the way to go (I really hope it is the 
way, though!!)
can you suggest some alternatives?

I know for sure it is possible to draw such objects and 
also compute
their volume (which would also be useful) with 
Mathematica, but I don't
have such software and would rather prefer open source 
packages.
