I am also quite new to GNUplot, but I put the datafiles into the same
directory
as the program gnuplot.exe. Otherwise you have to set the path of the file
(I don't know how).
If you set the path, it maybe should not contain spaces, this is a linux
manner.

In my case the path is:    D:\Software\gp443win32\gnuplot\binary\

Put the files here, than it should work.
