Hello again,
so I now managed to test your proposals and for me it looks like a bug in
the "--persist" option of "gnuplot.exe" on windows (xp). Even if I start
gnuplot.exe from a command window with the "--persist" switch, plot
something and "exit" gnuplot, the plot window closes. The same thing happens
when I set manually "set terminal wxt persist" in a gnuplot session and
"exit" gnuplot afterwards. It just ignores this option. On linux it works
fine (same version of gnuplot - gnuplot 4.4 patchlevel 3). I also tried
gnuplot 4.5 (dev snapshot) on windows and gnuplot 4.4 patchlevel 0 on
windows - same result.
This switch is just useless. Can anybody confirm this?
