[Gnuplot-info] Issue with matrix plot

Hello everybody,
I have a little issue with plotting an "Matrix_ascii"(gnuplot 4.4 patchlevel 3) - the thing is on my plot, which you can see here

I have just done:

set palette grey
plot "myMatrix.txt" matrix with image

Unfortunately the matrix is plotted upside down and the small numbers (0.9) are dark whereas the bigger number (1) is plotted white.
Can anybody give me advice how to correct this, so that the matrix is plotted correctly with bigger numbers beig darker than smaller numbers?
