[Gnuplot-info] rmargin: legends cut off

Dear gnuplot users,

I spent the afternoon trying to figure out how I can manage not to cut off the numbers at the right margin which label the cbscale of my pm3d plot.

set rmargin xxx to larges values doesn't change anything,
set margin at screen xxx does change something, however I can't seem to get it under control. Does anybody please have any suggestion for me?
