[Gnuplot-info] using gnuplot for monitor plots, i.e. for repetitive plotting

Hello!


Is  there  a  way to use gnuplot to do monitoring plots, i.e. to do repetitive
plotting?
In other words a "tail -f" that does not print the line but extends a plot  of
the data as new dataset come in?
Say  for  monitoring  the  temperature  of the CPU for the last N measurements
optainted by:
while true; do cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRC/temperature ; sleep 1; done
