[Gnuplot-info] Is ther anyway to force xrange without changing the plot?

I have this plot  http://old.nabble.com/file/p30797061/test1.jpg test1.jpg 
with xrange[0:30] and x2range[0:3]. I am trying to 
1. hide xrange[0:30] and 
2. force x2range[0:3] to appear as xrange[0:3] as this one

Is there any option/trick to do that without affecting original plot?
