[Gnuplot-info] Labels and marks in the curve

Hello:

 

I would like to know about features available for marks and labels in
gnuplot. 

 

My problem is here:

 

I want to mark at different intervals in the curve instead of axes with a
symbol. I tried using set label and set arrow commands  but I was unable to
reach at end. I am trying this in multi-graph.  I am appreciating all of you
who has known about this problem.
