That's at least partly caused by 300x300 being way too high a resolution 
for this plot.  That plots consists of just about nothing but sub-pixel 
fragments of lines, the tiniest of which apparently the drawing engine 
refuses to actually output.

For a wireframe drawing to make sense, both technically and visually, 
there has to be at least a bit of white space between the lines.  At 
300x300 isosamples for that function, there just about isn't any.
