Hi Jon,

I tried it via:

set terminal postscript eps color enhanced solid "Times-Bold"
...

set ylabel "better \(\Longrightarrow\) [s]"  

and 

set ylabel "better $\Longrightarrow$ [s]"  

and

set ylabel "better \Longrightarrow [s]"  

but it is not working.
